What the press release distribution outlet list tells you.

An outlet list explains where a package sends your release. It does not tell you how many people will read it or whether a journalist will cover your announcement. Here is how to compare Pressora’s packages before paying.

Writing is free. Read and edit your draft without an account, email, or card. Distribution is optional.

Named outlets and network distribution are different

A named outlet is a specific destination the wire identifies for a package. Pressora lists those names only where our implemented package includes them. A familiar publication name describes a distribution destination, not an independent recommendation of your company.

Network distribution sends the release through the wire’s publisher network. Where the package has no confirmed individual names, we show its network description instead of inventing a list. The wire’s aggregate figures are attributed to the wire; they are not Pressora’s measured delivery results.

Before payment, the outlet list describes the package you can buy. After distribution, the report lists the destinations that actually published your release, with live links. Those are different questions: what is included, and what happened to this particular release.

What each Pressora package includes

These are one-time prices per release, not monthly plans. Each paid package includes the written release, distribution, and a report. The package summaries and outlet names below use the same definitions as the buying screen.

Core $49

The written release plus the core distribution network.

  • The release written for you, yours to keep either way
  • Submitted to the wire’s core syndicated publisher network
  • A report listing every outlet that picked it up, with live links

No individual outlet names are confirmed for this package; no single site is promised.

The wire publishes a figure of 300 or more syndicated sites for this package. That is their count, not ours, and no single site is promised — the report shows exactly where your release actually landed.

Wide $149

The broader network, plus television and radio station sites.

  • Everything in Core
  • The wire’s broader syndicated publisher network
  • Television and radio station websites carried alongside it

No individual outlet names are confirmed for this package; no single site is promised.

The wire publishes figures of 500 or more publisher sites and 100 or more television and radio sites for this package. Those are their counts, not ours, and no single site is promised.

Premium $399

The full premium pack, with the named placements included.

  • Everything in Wide
  • The wire’s premium placements, included rather than sold as extras
  • Priority handling if an outlet sends the release back

Named outlets: AP News, USA Today, Barchart, Street Insider.

These four are named because the wire names them as part of this package. Anything we cannot confirm by name is not listed here.

USA Today special $99

The written release, submitted to the wire’s USA Today package, with the full report.

Named outlet: USA Today.

USA Today is named because the wire sells this package under that name. No other site is included — Premium is the tier that carries the wider network alongside it.

This is a separate choice, not the broader Premium package at a lower price.

A larger network is not automatically a better fit for your announcement. If you do not need paid distribution, keep and use the free draft. For the difference between writing costs and distribution costs, read our press release cost guide.

How to read the outlet list before buying

  1. 01

Read the package, not just the outlet name

Check whether an outlet is named in the package you selected. A name on another tier does not mean it is included in yours.

  2. 02

    Separate names from network figures

A publisher-network figure describes distribution scope. It is not a list of individually promised sites, and it is not a count of readers.

  3. 03

    Distinguish websites from broadcasts

Television and radio station websites are web destinations. Their inclusion does not mean your announcement will be read on air or shown on television.

  4. 04

    Check the terms before checkout

Read the final package details and price beside your draft. Choose based on the destinations you need, not a headline number alone.

Publication is not editorial endorsement or readership

A distributed release is your company’s announcement, even when it appears on a familiar outlet’s website. Publication through a wire is not the same as a journalist researching your company and writing an independent piece. Do not present a release link as an outlet’s endorsement of your product.

A published link proves that a page is available at that destination when checked. It does not prove that anyone read it, clicked through, signed up, or bought from you. Pressora does not promise a number of readers, journalist responses, search rankings, or sales from distribution.

If an outlet’s editors reject your release, we rewrite it once. If it’s rejected again, you get all your money back. This rejection policy does not turn distribution into a promise of independent coverage or audience attention.

Read the release before choosing distribution

Start with your announcement, not an outlet logo. Answer the six-question brief, read the draft, and check its facts and any quote permissions. You can edit and copy the draft without paying for distribution.

When you choose “Distribute this release,” the buying screen shows the package details and price before checkout. Compare those details with your actual goal for the announcement. Paying for a wider package changes distribution scope, not the truth of your claims or the need for approvals.
